SOPHIA - cooling gel with leech extract

The healing effects of leeches have been mentioned for the first time in the era of Egyptian pharaohs. Nowadays are leeches used for medical purposes only in certain clinics, mainly for diseases connected with blood circulation, e.g. varicose veins. They are also used in neurological surgery to speed up the healing process after amputation and reattachment of limb parts. 

Leech glands contain more than 100 biologically active substances, of which the best known is hirudin.

The Sophia cooling gel is a special healing and cooling cream which contains ingredients effective for inflammation, rosemary and tea tree essential oils to improve the microcirculation and to alleviate pain. The main component is a medicinal leech extract used for centuries to heal varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), trombophlebitis, vein inflammation, foot fatigue and many other problems connected with veins and blood circulation. It helps the swelling to go down, has an anti-inflammatory effect, alleviates pain, pleasantly cools and improves micro-circulation.

How to use: Massage the cream gently to the affected area along the veins from the bottom up 2-3 times a day. Therapy lasts 3-5 weeks.

Contents: silver-ionized water, heparin, piyavit – medicinal leech extract, menthol, essential oil rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), essential tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia), liposome and emulsion complex No.8 (glycerine, vegetable oil, sodium polyacrylate, ciclometicon, eutanol G, microcare IT, antioxidant grindox), veintonic biocomplex, capillary strengthening biocomplex, microcare DMP, fragrance composition.

Warning: Do not use in case of an individual intolerance to specific components of the cream. Not suitable for children.
